The Most Simple and Readily Available Approach to Global Pesticide Pollution Prevention
This article was originally published in the Ukrainian journal ”Техніка і технології АПК” – /Engineering and Technologies in Agribusiness/, No. 1 (64), January, 2015 ROsá centrifugal atomizers ensure a six-fold reduction in the pesticide application rates and up to a forty-fold reduction in the soil contamination levels due to the efficient and reliable spraying.
Technical efficiency of spraying. Filtration of Working Fluid and Reliability of Spray Nozzle Perfor
This article was originally published in the Ukrainian journal “Propozytsiya,” March, 2014, No. 3/225, in Ukrainian In our previous article (titled Pesticide nozzles: wear and its consequences), a reference has been made to the Catalogue of the ASJ company, ARAG Group, and, particularly, to the table which illustrates that wear on slit-type spray nozzles may result in as high as a six-fold increase of the non-uniformity of working liquid distribution along the length of the spray boom! Clogged spray nozzles may inflict even more inconsistent results in spraying operations.

SRAYING WITH ROsá CENTRIFUGAL ATOMIZERS Part 4. Pesticide losses in spraying
This article was originally published in the Ukrainian journal ”Техніка і технології АПК” – /Engineering and Technologies in Agribusiness/, No. 2, February, 2012 A pesticide application rate is governed by the amount of an active ingredient concentrate in cells, which is necessary for destruction or suppression of weeds and pests (a lethal dose); but actual pesticide application rates in spraying are often excessive because of losses encountered due to non-uniformity of pesticide distribution in the working fluid, non-uniformity of the fluid flow along the boom length, evaporation losses, and also because of droplet splashing or bouncing off and slipping on the ground.
SRAYING WITH ROsá CENTRIFUGAL ATOMIZERS Part 3. Droplet deposition
This article was originally published in the Ukrainian journal ”Техніка і технології АПК” – /Engineering and Technologies in Agribusiness/, No. 1, January, 2012 A pesticide can exert its action on the plants only from the deposited droplets containing the chemical. The working fluid, which evaporates from the droplets during their deposition, pollute the atmosphere and those droplets which fail to reach the plant surfaces, bounce off the plants or slip off onto the ground and contaminate the soil. Therefore, the deposition of the working fluid is a crucial factor for spraying efficacy.
SRAYING WITH ROsá CENTRIFUGAL ATOMIZERS Part 2. Atomization of Pesticides
This article was originally published in the Ukrainian journal ”Техніка і технології АПК” – /Engineering and Technologies in Agribusiness/, No. 12, December, 2011 Successful application of the centrifugal atomization process in a V-2 rocket engine triggered off extensive research into this process. Due to the swirling motion imparted to the fluid in the swirl chamber, it is feasible to control spray pattern angles and droplet sizes. The film of fluid in the nozzle orifice of the centrifugal atomizer consists of a great number of vortex threads.
SRAYING WITH ROsá CENTRIFUGAL ATOMIZERS Part 1. The ROsá centrifugal atomizer
(This article was originally published in the Ukrainian journal ”Техніка і технології АПК” – /Engineering and Technologies in Agribusiness/, No. 11, November, 2011) The long-term experience of using ROsá pesticide centrifugal atomizers has been generalized in this series of articles. We have developed the ROsá atomizers for low-capacity spraying of field crops, and we hope you will take advantage of these advances to the fullest.
